New York, NY – (February 11th, 2014) – Naeem Khan, known for his luxurious impeccably cut dresses, sophisticated gowns and chic separates, created a collection this season with an air of cabaret, and modern decadence. Originally from India, Khan grew up surrounded by the beauty of its culture, history, and architectural landscape, which transcends into his newest collection for Autumn/Winter 2014 with the incorporation of soft patterns and intricate embroidery elements.
This collection is inspired by the sexy, dark world of cabaret, and the daring confident attitude that defined it. Elements from the boudoir are brought to the runway with soft floral patterns contrasted with geometric honeycomb embroidered cage gowns and Leopard prints. Using various metallic tones and intricate, but subtle, embroidery techniques, this collection is a fresh, modern take on the rich, decadent life of that era.
